Tell Me Why
Achievement guide · roadmap · tracker
Tell Me Why is the latest narrative adventure game from DONTNOD Entertainment, the studio behind the beloved franchise, Life is Strange. In this intimate mystery, twins Tyler and Alyson Ronan use their supernatural bond to unravel the mysteries of their loving but troubled childhood in beautiful small-town Alaska.
Tell Me Why is Dontnod's warm, story-driven mystery - twins Tyler and Alyson piecing together their childhood in small-town Alaska - and it's a very easy, no-skill 100%. One playthrough is 6-8 hours; expect 10-12 for the lot. Like Life is Strange it has full chapter/scene select, so nothing is permanently missable - anything skipped is recoverable by replaying the scene, which is why almost everything here is optional rather than missable.
The only thing forcing extra time is two pairs of mutually-exclusive ending achievements: the twin-bond pair (Twins4life vs
Life Tears Us Apart) and the final-choice pair (
Lock-Up And Go vs
A New Chapter). You get one of each per run, so you'll replay chapters to flip them. The one collectible set is the 13 hidden Book of Goblins wooden figures, feeding
One For The Collection (first figure) and
And Everything In Its Place (place all 13 in the attic).
Recommended run: play through naturally, grab all 13 figures and do every optional interaction and puzzle, aim for a strong bond and one ending first time, then use scene select for the opposite bond and the opposite final choice.

Presenting all the evidence makes Tessa tell you everything.

Twins4life
UncommonComplete the story with the twins strongly bound together
Finish the game with a strong twin bond, by consistently making relationship-strengthening choices across all three chapters. The bond is cumulative and mutually exclusive with Life Tears Us Apart per run, so flipping it generally means a second playthrough.

We Need To Talk
UncommonTake time to talk things over with your twin.
