Lies of P
Achievement guide · roadmap · tracker
Lies of P is an action role-playing game set in a dark, Belle Époque-inspired city overrun by deadly puppets. Players control Pinocchio, reimagined as a mechanical warrior, navigating a decaying world while making choices that affect the unfolding narrative. The game features challenging melee combat, weapon customization, and a mechanical arm with various abilities.
Lies of P is a Bloodborne-inspired Soulslike set in the ruined Belle Époque city of Krat, casting you as the puppet P on a hunt through a puppet-and-Carcass-infested nightmare. It's single-player, and this list covers the base game plus the Overture DLC (the 'Forgotten Time' content) and the platinum.
Two playthroughs. Plan for at least two runs (a New Game+). The three base endings are decided by late-game choices and can all be grabbed in one playthrough with cloud-save backups before the final choices, but the record and weapon collectibles include NG+-only items - so the platinum needs NG+ regardless.
The endings (all choice-gated): Real boy : They all lived happily ever after (Real Boy) = give Geppetto your heart;
Free from the puppet string (Free from the puppet string) = refuse Geppetto and 'let her live' for Sophia;
Rise of P (Rise of P, the true ending) = refuse Geppetto, 'give her peace' for Sophia, and reach maximum Humanity by lying throughout. Only the Rise of P path fights the secret final boss
The First Puppet. Back up your save before the Geppetto choice to mop up all three.
Missables - watch the NPC questlines. Sixteen trophies are missable, most of them the 'last story of...' character quests (The Story of the Refined Old Lady,
The Story of the Prince,
The Story of a Stranger Girl,
The Story of the Blue Butterfly,
The Story of One Father), each lost by the wrong gift or dialogue choice mid-story - follow a quest order and you won't strand one. Several collectibles (records, gestures, cryptic vessels, Trinity Sanctums) also can't be finished after the credits, so sweep as you go.
Fatal Blow
CommonDeliver a successful Fatal Attack.
Land a Fatal Attack - stagger an enemy (chip the white 'groggy' health with Perfect Guards or heavy hits until they flash), then hit the heavy-attack input for the critical Fatal Blow. Comes early once you find the parry rhythm.
Stargazer’s Guide
CommonRepair a Stargazer.
Repair a Stargazer - the game's checkpoint. You do this on the first one as part of the tutorial, so it's unmissable and pops early.
Parade Master
CommonKill the Parade Master.
The first major boss, at the end of the opening Krat Central Station area - an unmissable story kill. Learn to Perfect Guard here; it shifts into a faster, more aggressive second phase once its arm breaks off.
First Lie
CommonTell a lie in front of Hotel Krat Entrance.
Tell your first lie - at the Hotel Krat entrance early on, an NPC asks a question; choose the lying dialogue option. Lying builds Humanity toward the Rise of P ending, so get in the habit.
The Ultimate Defense Technique
CommonDestroy an enemy’s weapon with a perfect guard.
Break an enemy's weapon with a Perfect Guard. Repeatedly Perfect-Guard a single attacker - ideally one with a blunt or wooden weapon - until it shatters. Early enemies are the easiest to practise on.
The Bastards and the Sweepers
CommonKill a Stalker.
Kill a Stalker - the tougher roaming elite enemies that hunt you in certain areas. Take one down with a full flask and a Stargazer nearby; they hit hard.
Scrapped Watchman
CommonKill the Scrapped Watchman.
Story boss - unmissable. Punishes greed; its second phase adds an electric charge and shockwave, so back off on the wind-ups and Perfect Guard the combos to stagger it.
King's Flame
CommonKill King’s Flame, Fuoco.
Story boss guarding the Venigni Works - unmissable. A fire-and-charge brute; Perfect Guard its overheat blasts and stay on its flank to avoid the ground-fire pools.
Exploring Possibilities
CommonTry to assemble a weapon.
Assemble a weapon at the workbench - Lies of P lets you combine any blade with any handle. Open the assembly menu and swap parts to make one. A one-time mechanic prompt, available as soon as you reach Hotel Krat.
Fallen Archbishop
CommonKill the Fallen Archbishop Andreus.
Story boss at the end of St. Frangelico Cathedral - unmissable. Target the exposed heart on its back; the tentacle and lightning attacks in phase two hit hard, so break line of sight and punish the openings.
The Delayed Match
CommonKill the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood.
Story boss - unmissable. The first Black Rabbit Brotherhood encounter, a duel with the Eldest. Beating it advances the story toward the later rematch, Revenge of Black.
Bear Gold Coin Fruit
CommonHarvest Gold Coin Fruit.
Harvest a Gold Coin Fruit - plant the seed on the Gold Coin Fruit tree at Hotel Krat and pick the fruit once it ripens (it matures as you play and defeat enemies). Collect one when it's ready.
King of Puppets
CommonKill Romeo, King of Puppets.
Story boss at the Estella Opera House - unmissable. Two phases: the puppet mech, then Romeo himself, who is fast and combo-heavy. Perfect Guard his strings to stagger, and watch the flaming-sword follow-ups.
From Across the Rift
CommonKill all types of Dimensional Butterflies.
Kill one of every type of Dimensional Butterfly - the coloured butterflies that drop items around the world (each colour is a type). Hit each variety once; a collectibles guide helps you confirm you've covered every type.
The Champion of Evolution
CommonKill Champion Victor.
Story boss (Champion Victor) at the Grand Exhibition - unmissable. A heavy hammer bruiser; stay close to bait his slow overhead swings and punish, and mind the acid-gas phase.
Puppet-Devouring Green Monster
CommonKill the Puppet-Devouring Green Monster.
Story boss in the Barren Swamp - unmissable, part of the mandatory path (not an optional fight). A large mutated Carcass; look for stagger windows and keep a Pulse Cell in reserve for its grab.
Corrupted Parade Master
CommonKill the Corrupted Parade Master.
Story boss around Chapter 9 - unmissable, and clearing it is what opens up the Overture DLC. A corrupted, much tougher callback to the very first boss, Parade Master.
Strongest Legion Arm
CommonModify a Legion Arm to its max level.
Upgrade any Legion Arm to its maximum level at Venigni's workbench, using Legion Arm upgrade materials. Pour the materials into one arm rather than spreading them thin.
Revenge of Black
UncommonKill the Black Rabbit Brotherhood.
Story boss - unmissable. The full Black Rabbit Brotherhood rematch, a gank fight against the group. Thin them out one at a time and use the arena; follows The Delayed Match.
Extreme Potential
UncommonActivate P-Organ to Phase 5.
Activate the P-Organ up to Phase 5 - spend Quartz at the P-Organ (accessed from Stargazers) to unlock all five base phases. You'll have enough Quartz by late game from bosses and world pickups.
The Complete One
UncommonKill Laxasia the Complete.
Late-game story boss - unmissable. Fast, with a brutal lightning second phase; Perfect Guarding her long combo strings is essential, and rush in on the electrified follow-ups before she recovers.
Strongest Normal Weapon
UncommonStrengthen a normal weapon to its max level.
Strengthen a normal (assembled) weapon to max level with Dark Moon Moonstones at the workbench. Concentrate your high-tier moonstones on a single weapon.
The Awakened God
UncommonKill the Awakened God Simon Manus.
The final mandatory boss - two demanding phases (his human form, then the Awakened God). Beating him completes the main story and leads into the ending choice, so this is your story-complete mark whichever ending you then pick.
The Story of the One Who Dreamed
UncommonFind out about the last story of Simon Manus.
Simon Manus's backstory - unlocks automatically as you progress the endgame. Not missable; it comes with beating The Awakened God.
Strongest Special Weapon
UncommonStrengthen a special weapon to its max level.
Strengthen a special (boss) weapon to its max level - these use a separate upgrade line (Refined Ergo). Max one out; you can farm the materials in NG+ if you're short.
The Story of the Refined Old Lady
UncommonFind out about the last story of Antonia.
Antonia's questline (the Hotel Krat owner). Missable: you must accept the special cure from Giangio and deliver it to her - refusing to give her the cure locks it out. Keep up her conversations across the story.
The First Puppet
UncommonKill the Nameless Puppet.
The secret true final boss - only fought on the Rise of P (Rise of P) path, after Simon Manus, if you refused Geppetto with maximum Humanity. Widely regarded as the hardest fight in the game; its two phases demand near-flawless Perfect Guarding.
Legion Arm Collector
UncommonCollect all Legion Arms.
Collect every Legion Arm. Most come from bosses (convert their Ergo at Venigni) or are found/bought - gather the full set. Boss arms you skipped can be bought in NG+.
End of Riddles
UncommonDiscover all Trinity Sanctums.
Discover all Trinity Sanctums - the hidden doors opened with the Portrait/Trinity key items. Missable: several sit in areas you can't revisit after key story points, so open each as you pass. Use a locations guide.
Rise of P
Uncommon[Rise of P] Reach the ending.
The true ending. Refuse to give Geppetto your heart, choose 'Give her peace' for Sophia, and reach MAXIMUM Humanity (lie at every opportunity through the game). This path adds the secret boss The First Puppet before the credits. Back up your save before the Geppetto choice to also grab the other two endings.
The Story of the Prince
UncommonFind out about the last story of Venigni.
Venigni's questline. Missable: solve the King of Riddles' final puzzle and finish Venigni's arc BEFORE you defeat The Awakened God - that fight is the point of no return and closes it.
Pianist of Krat
RarePlay a perfect tune on the piano at Hotel Krat.
Play a perfect tune on the Hotel Krat piano. Interact with it and hit the note prompts cleanly for a flawless performance - follow the on-screen timing. Available once the piano is accessible at the hotel.
The Story of a Stranger Girl
RareFind out about the last story of Eugénie.
Eugénie's questline (the Workshop Union smith). Missable: after you decrypt Alidoro's cryptic vessel, pick the correct dialogue option with her - the wrong choice ends her story. Keep talking to her as the game progresses.
Free from the puppet string
Rare[Free from the puppet string] Reach the ending.
One of the three endings. Refuse to give Geppetto your heart and choose 'Let her live' for Sophia (with less than maximum Humanity). Restore a pre-Geppetto backup save to pick this up alongside Rise of P and
Real boy : They all lived happily ever after.
The Story of the Blue Butterfly
RareFind out about the last story of Sophia.
Sophia's story (the girl behind the blue butterflies). Missable and ending-linked: choose 'Give her peace' (not 'Let her live') at her final scene, and don't give Geppetto the heart - which ties it directly to the Rise of P path.
Veteran Explorer
RareDecipher all cryptic vessels and claim the rewards.
Decipher all of Alidoro's cryptic vessels and claim their rewards. Missable: hand each vessel over and collect its reward before the story locks the area. Track them with a guide. Distinct from the DLC's Tracker of Dark Secrets.
Learning about Emotions
RareLearn all gestures.
Learn all gestures - found on records and given by NPCs across the story. Missable: some come from questlines that can be failed, so pick them up as you go. The base-game counterpart to the DLC's To Be Human.
Real boy : They all lived happily ever after
Rare[Real boy: They all lived happily ever after] Reach the ending.
The 'Real Boy' ending. Give Geppetto your heart at the final choice (regardless of Humanity level) - the quickest ending to trigger. Restore your pre-choice backup save afterwards to also get Free from the puppet string and
Rise of P.
Normal Weapon Collector
RareCollect all normal weapons.
Collect every normal weapon (all blades and handles). Most are bought from the Hotel Krat traders or found in the world; a few are NG+-only, so expect to finish this on a second run.
Special Weapon Collector
RareCollect all special weapons.
Collect every special (boss) weapon. Missable per run: each is made by spending a boss's Ergo on the weapon (rather than Quartz), so you must choose it each time - pick up any you skipped in NG+.
The Story of One Father
RareFind out about the last story of Geppetto.
Geppetto's story. Missable: at the finale you must GIVE him the heart to earn it - which triggers the Real boy : They all lived happily ever after ending. Because that conflicts with Sophia's 'give her peace' path, use save backups to get both
The Story of the Blue Butterfly and this across one run.
Golden Melody
RareCollect and play all records.
Collect and play every record for the Hotel Krat gramophone. Missable and the trickiest base collectible: two records are mutually exclusive from a dialogue choice, and some only appear from NG+ vendors - so the full set spans at least two playthroughs.
Puppeteer of Death
RareKill Markiona, the Puppeteer of Death.
Overture DLC story boss - Markiona, one of the major bosses in the theatre complex. Unmissable on the DLC path.
Anguished Guardian
LegendaryKill the Anguished Guardian of the Ruins.
Overture DLC story boss - the Anguished Guardian of the Ruins, which blocks the path to a cipher-machine clue. A heavy hitter; a strong melee build is recommended. Unmissable on the DLC path.
Beyond Limitless Potential
LegendaryFurther upgrade the abilities of the P-Organ.
Upgrade the P-Organ using the DLC's added nodes - the Overture extends the P-Organ tree, so spend Quartz on one of the new slots. Easy once you're into the DLC.
Honor and Revenge
LegendaryKill the Leader of the Bastards and the Leader of the Sweepers.
Overture DLC - defeat both the Leader of the Bastards and the Leader of the Sweepers (a two-part boss encounter). Comes with the DLC's story progression.
The Blood Artist
LegendaryKill the Blood Artist.
The Overture DLC's final boss. Unmissable on the DLC path - beating it triggers the DLC ending The Rose's Memory and unlocks
Enduring Resolve.
The Rose's Memory
Legendary[The Rose's Memory] Reach the ending.
The Overture DLC ending - unlocks on defeating the final DLC boss, The Blood Artist. The DLC has a single ending, so one DLC playthrough covers it.
Enduring Resolve
LegendaryListen to the Legend's last recording.
Listen to the Legend's last recording - available right after the final DLC boss The Blood Artist. Interact with it to finish the DLC's closing story beat.
Tracker of Dark Secrets
LegendaryDecrypt all clues hidden inside the cipher machines and claim the rewards.
Decrypt all the DLC's cipher machines and claim the rewards. Missable: each needs the right clue and dialogue, so work them as you explore the Forgotten Time. The DLC version of Veteran Explorer.
To Be Human
LegendaryLearn all gestures from the Forgotten Time.
Learn all 8 new gestures introduced in the Forgotten Time (DLC). Missable: gather each from the DLC's notes and NPCs as you progress. The DLC counterpart to Learning about Emotions.
True Combat Gear Collector
LegendaryCollect all weapons and Legion Arms in the Forgotten Time.
Collect all the new weapons and Legion Arms in the Forgotten Time (the DLC zone) - 10 weapons and 2 Legion Arms. Missable: sweep the DLC areas thoroughly, as some can't be grabbed after story points.
Memory's Melody
LegendaryCollect and listen to all records from the Forgotten Time.
Collect and listen to all 8 records in the Forgotten Time (DLC). Missable, and the Gold Records are NG+-only - so finishing this needs a New Game+ run of the DLC content.
Lies of P
Obtain all trophies.
The platinum trophy - awarded for earning every other base-game trophy (the Overture DLC trophies are a separate set and aren't required for it). Follow the roadmap: all three endings via save backups, every boss, and the missable NPC quests and collectibles, across at least two playthroughs (NG+ for the NG+-only records).
