Reach account level 2 - earns from playing a game or two. Comes almost immediately.

Open the avatar editor and change your character's appearance - tweak any option and confirm.

Add your first friend - send and confirm a friend request in the social menu.

Use your first ticket - spend one of the entry tickets to join a game/event that requires it.

Reach karma level 4 - karma rises from finishing games without quitting early, so play games through to the end and don't rage-quit.

Reach account level 5 - a few games in. Cumulative XP from playing.

Build a single road of at least 12 connected sections (ships count) - keep extending one continuous road; Seafarers, with its ship routes, makes a long line easiest.

Finish the base-game tutorial - the guided intro. You'll do this first thing.

Win a game while holding both the Longest Road and the Largest Army bonuses at once - build out roads and play enough knights to claim both cards, then close out the win.

Reach account level 10 - the mid-tier XP grind. Keep playing ranked or casual games.

Win a game without ever upgrading a settlement to a city - win on settlements, roads and bonuses/dev cards alone. A deliberate restriction; against bots is the easy place to try it.

Reach account level 20 - the long XP grind. This is the account-progression cap on the list; it takes a good many games.

Finish the introductory game of "The Duel" - the standalone two-player card mode. Play through its intro match.

Uncover 10 fog tiles in a game of Seafarers - explore with ships into the fog-covered sea to reveal ten new tiles.

Build 3 city walls in a game of Cities & Knights - upgrade cities and add walls until you've placed three in one game.

Win 5 games with the Seafarers expansion - cumulative across matches. Play Seafarers boards (bots are fine) until you've banked five wins.

Win 5 games with the Cities & Knights expansion - cumulative. Grind out five wins on Cities & Knights boards.

Create a guild or join an existing one - from the guild menu, found one or accept an invite.

Play the 'Wedding' progress card 10 times across your games (Cities & Knights) - draw and use it whenever it comes up; cumulative, so it builds over many matches.

Move the pirate 5 times in a game of Seafarers - when you roll a 7 (or play a knight), send the pirate ship to a new spot; do so five times in one game.

Colonize all islands in the Seafarers scenario "The Four Islands" - settle on every one of the map's separate islands in a single game of that scenario.
